My Quick Take on Jennifer Brown's "How to Be An Inclusive Leader"

Berrett-Koehler Publishers has hired me on occasion to review books on diversity and inclusion in their development stages. The first such book I reviewed, How to Be An Inclusive Leader, was published in August 2019. 

The author, Jennifer Brown, provides a model for understanding what “inclusivity” actually means. More importantly, she lays out a path for leaders who want to go beyond merely paying lip service to the concept by actually helping to make it a reality in their organizations. For that reason alone, I consider the book valuable and a worthwhile addition to one's library.
