My life journey is mine only. My experiences and lessons I've learned are unique to me. They may or may not apply to others. I don't decide on their relevance, moreover.
In other words, I strive to meet people where they are. Their personal, academic, and professional development arcs are unique to them. Their path is different than mine. They need to define success on their own terms, not mine.
I do my best to help people in any way I can. I'll provide suggestions, referrals, and other guidance. Yet the critical decisions rest with them. They need to chart their own course--as I and others have done.
